Influenced by the way temperature and weather impact built objects, their boundaries, and surrounding space, the sculptures are constructed of individually painted planes stitched together in anomalous arrangements. Their scale fluctuates from board to building, drawing on both the language of wood joinery and the extensive palette of a lush tropical landscape.

"Gravity draws on the topmost object, it draws on it strongly. But the air is so dense, maybe the barometric pressure, that in order to meet, these two parts of a pillar— the top part extending high into the atmosphere—must navigate deep geometric valleys to arrive. I can hear the sound of brick sliding on brick as they move."
